40 Days with Labyrinths for Advent and Christmas

Artist and writer Fay Rowland takes us on an imagined journey to Bethlehem and back home again – through the spiritual practice of ‘walking’ labyrinths – meeting fellow-travellers along the way and taking the odd wrong turn, as we all do. In the style of Fay’s popular original 40 Days with Labyrinths, this book offers biblical reflections for every day of Advent and Christmas, each illustrated with a labyrinth design for readers to ‘walk’, colour or decorate. The journey covers the traditional Christmas narrative interspersed with Isaiah’s prophecies and other Old Testament themes. After Christmas we meet some of the relatives and find that Jesus’ family tree contains a few nuts! We end with the visit of the wise men and return home as different people, having met the one who changes the world.
